Founded in 1981 as engineering- und consulting service the company started with software development for SMEs.
Since 2002 AICO has been focusing on embedded software development of systems and components in the telecommunications and automotive industry.
In 2004 AICO started his All-IP strategy for various mobile communication applications which gives our platform the flexibility
for a fast and money-saving integration in existing systems and is able to cover a wide range of use cases and apllications.
An adaptable smartphone application (Android or IOS) for data-visualization and remote-control completes the product stack. The software components we use and the parts we developed are all based on open standards and open-source projects for a sustainable and flexible further adaption by our customers and partners, only a few core components use special license agreement.

IP-based Communication, Detection and Notification platform

What we offer

Our software platform is a flexible communication solution based on new and recycled/recombined/reused NGN/IMS concepts and technologies. It can be seen as mediator between various sensor-, measure-, detection-systems and the data-sink, here the data is either redirected for further automatically processing or provided to a data-vizualisation terminal, a PC, tablet or smartphone to be interpreted by a human user. The communication between data-source and sink can be bidirectional for remote reaction-control and administration of the data-source. Our platform is based on Next-Generation-Networking (=NGN) technologies repectively derived from the IP based-Multimedia Subsystem (=IMS) and is therefore able to operate on different wireless/wired carriers (1G/CSD, 2G/GPRS, 3G/UMTS/HSPA, 4G/LTE, Wifi, LAN...) without any adaption or dependency.

The sustainable design allows a fast and simple integration in or combination with existing measure-sensor field-, facility and environment observation-, home and facility automatisation- respectively management-systems and technologies.

The currently ongoing worldwide implementation/integration of IMS/NGN technologies by the MNOs (=Mobile Network Operators) gives our solution the ability to outsource the underlying transport-, security-, communication-layer to MNOs by reusing/adapting the NGN session- and dataprotocols for our purposes.

Smart autonomous and automatic control, test, tracking, analysis and reporting platform

What we offer

The concept for this software/platform was initially invented for test-automatisation and automatic-tests of network structures/servers used by MNOs.
Now it can be seen as a kind of brain abstraction respectively further-data-processing sink on top of the IP-based Communication, Detection and Notification platform (see other profile).
Beside data-logging, handling and reporting it was also designed to process and combine a huge number of events and notifications with the ability to react on special event-notification-combinations according to a strict or fuzzy defined reaction matrix. It reuses and recycles technologies from HPC, parallel and cluster computing, which gives the platform the ability to process calculation intensive event-notification-combinations and react in nearly realtime manner (but depends).

What we offer

During the development of our core solutions (see corresponding profiles) it was necessary to invent some applications which tests und uses the communication and automatisation platform. They are related to energy-saving/production, sensor-detection systems and device and communication security (see list below).

- Independent in-house energy production, independent outdoor energy production for agricultural and other purposes.

- Sensor and detection concepts and solutions for in-house/in-company security with independent, device internal energy production.

- Health-Care study: Optimizing the work respectively minimizing the workload on persons working in health-care companies and institutions with smart supporting and informational mobile terminals and distributed embedded sensor and detection devices.

- Concept for a minimal invasive technological upgrade of (old) buildings with maximized re-usage of the existing infrastrucure.

What we are looking for
